Christmas Bags

Christmas is such a fun time with Grandchildren!  I made these bags for them.  Click on the picture to enlarge so you can see the signs at the bottom of the bag.  It's just a little personalization, but FUN.  I used the silhouette cameo to cut out santa's sleigh and reindeer.  I then cut a Christmas tree and star from silhouette online and used the outline to dab in the color.

Christmas Poinsettia

Another of my simple but clean card designs.  I love the scalloped edge, it gives a soft feel.  The poinsettia is a Spellbinders die, the branches are by Martha Stewart and the card stock, ribbon and sentiment are by Stampin Up!  I used an embossing folder to the raised "snow"...

Christmas Card-Ornaments

Another of my original designs.  This card uses everything Stampin Up!  The card stock is cherry cobbler and old olive.  I used the ornament punch and decorated them with gold glitter for the hangers.  Hmm, looks like a hounds tooth kind of card!

Christmas is on it's Way!

This is a design of my own!  The santa and reindeer is a cut file using my new Silhouette Cameo; I also used it to cut my side step card...easy as pie!  The background stamp set from Stampin Up is Lovely As A Tree which I stamped then masked the moon and used Night of Navy, Midnight Muse and Baja Breeze to shade the night sky the filled in the moon with So Saffron.  The middle step is snow that I cut and crimped then sprayed everything with Campaign Mist.

Happy Black Friday!

Well, I made a scheduling mistake so instead of being a Happy Thanksgiving post, it's a Happy Black Friday card :(    This scene is actually an embossing folder then I distressed the raised areas with Stampin Up sanding block and used their designer paper with colored core.

Christmas Time

Getting a head start on Christmas cards; these two are cards cut using the Silhouette easy!  The packages under the trees are 3D stickers from K&Company.  The poinsettia is a spellbinders die.  Same card but different looks.  Thanks for visiting today.

Bird House Cards

I love this new free cut file from Birds Cards.  I've used different double sided papers to make these and placed some of the birds inside the card and some outside; just playing around with which way looks best...I like them all!  I worked with the cut file and have it down to a science where you can cut two cards with everything from one 12x12 sheet.  The roof came in four separate pieces but I played around with them and made is one piece which takes up less space.  I used the Silhouette Cameo I was able to purchase free with the funds I made from the scrapbooking yard sale at ScrappinHappilyEverAfter.

Veteran's Day

Than you to my father, brother, son and husband for their service to America.
For Veteran's Day, I covered one of those black and white composition books and encased the blue star using Glossy Accents.

Thanks for visiting, and yes I realized too late that Veteran's Day is celebrated every year on the 11th and not always on a Monday....

Give Thanks

Good morning!  It's been a while since I posted; been busy with my new venture, BeautiControl,  which is rolling right along and doing well.  In fact today I signed up my second recruit while in Columbia, SC at a meeting featuring Tammy Clary.  Check it out, and if you would like more information, please let me know.
It's Thanksgiving time, even though Christmas is trying to edge it out.  I love my Hand Penned stamp by StampinUp!  The leaves are from Autumn Splendor by Stampin'Up! as well as the card stock and twine.  Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all the blessings we have received.  I have two gorgeous grandchildren and another due in December; my sons and their families are my most wonderful blessings.
