DIY Facial Masks

Another post without a picture!  I won't make this a habit!

We all love to get facials at the spa, but when you can't afford it (money or time) you can do it yourself, for a lot less money and without leaving your home.  I use this one and I like to use organic ingredients when possible.  I am also somewhat of a control freak - I like to know what's going on my skin!
1-2 mashed strawberries
2 Tbl. plain yogurt
1 drop rosemary essential oil
2 drops lavender essential oil
1 tsp. cosmetic clay (organic store)
*If you have dry skin, add 1/2 tsp. sweet almond oil
Apply the mask to clean face and wash off with washcloth after at least 20 min. but can be left on longer.
Strawberries and yogurt have alpha-hydroxy acid that helps soften and texturize skin while rosemary and lavender stimulate cellular renewal.  Cosmetic clay draws out impurities.
Honey is a great moisturizing mask and it has purifying and healing properties.
Take 1 Tbl. organic honey and place on damp face; leave on 15-20 min. then remove with warm washcloth. For a little more humph, you can add 2-3 drops lavender essential oil for soothing any skin type.
Thanks for visiting...
